Where to Eat in Canggu, If You Are Visiting
A short, opinionated list — eight places we send our guests, and where we go when we close the boutique.

If you only have a day — and many of you do, because Bali is a place you pass through on the way somewhere else — start with breakfast at La Brisa, leave the car, and walk south along the beach until you reach Berawa.
For lunch, Sage on Jalan Pantai Berawa. The vegetarian curry has been on the menu for ten years; it is on the menu because it should be.
Coffee at Crate Café between three and four. The pastries are inconsistent, the people-watching is not.
Dinner at the new place — we are not naming it yet, because we like it.
And if you are still up after midnight: ask whoever you are with for directions to a beach called Echo. Do not Google it. Walk.
